Adult Only Vacations
We get it. Not everyone wants to spend their hard-earned vacation with somebody else’s kids (or maybe even your own). And while many OARS trips are great for families, our all-inclusive, all adult designated rafting departures are for “big kids” only.
Our adult only vacations cater exclusively to empty nesters, solo travelers, couples, or groups of friends who just like the idea of letting loose and relaxing on a kid-free vacation. You can choose from big thrills on our early-season, high-water Cataract Canyon and Yampa River rafting trips, or go for awesome beach vibes on Idaho’s Lower Salmon River or the Gates of Lodore in Utah.
A number of our specialty trips are specifically geared toward adults, as well, and designed to let you really indulge (sometimes with a chef, fine wines and microbrews brought along to help take your trip to the next level). Or, for those particularly focused on health, wellness and personal growth, several of these unique adult only trips combine adventure and wilderness immersion with daily yoga and meditation sessions led by certified yoga professionals.

This was a gift to my wife for her 50th birthday. It was a soul refreshing trip. You will not have cell signal at all so get ready to unplug and enjoy the views. You will see some awesome historical sites on short day hikes. You can test your meddle with cliff jumps, adventure swims, and a killer creek slide. If that's too wild for you, stay near camp and enjoy the white water living room while guides prepare dinner. It's all good. We will definitely be doing another trip with OARS.
