Estee Rivera Murdock is the executive director at the Rocky Mountain Conservancy. A repeat OARS guest and a busy professional, we asked Estee to disconnect for a few days with her husband and daughter on a Rogue River rafting trip. She took us up on the offer.
For Estee, the trip was an opportunity to leave all distractions behind and be completely in the moment with her family, which she says did not go unnoticed by her daughter. She shares more about why making time for outdoor adventures together is so important to her as a parent (even when these outings can be tough to pull off and often don’t go as planned).
