My Favorite Spot on the River/Outdoors

Hospital Bar is my favorite rapid because it is the first major rapid I successfully ran and a great hit. Anywhere in Arizona is my favorite spot, but Tonto National Forest, more specifically.

My Lucky Charm

Outside of wetsuit/drysuit season, I wear a white bandana my wife gave me when I walked/biked across the country and a scorpion bracelet from AZ.

I Can’t Live Without

My wedding ring is always in my PFD.

My Fun Fact

I was kneed so hard in the face during a collegiate soccer game that my brain was pushed out the base of my skull, resulting in brain surgery. I continued to play into my 30s.
