I have a warm-hearted love for sharing adventure amongst immense landscapes. The story and energetic thread of life on earth is woven into wild places. This opportunity to seek out authentic and raw experience on the greatest planet in our solar system is a rare and wonderful gift.

How I found OARS

Stephanie White opened a crack in the window for me. She told Regan Dale, OARS Regional Manager at the time, that I was a green-behind-the-ears 20-year-old with the work ethic of an Oklahoma dirt farmer. "Give him a chance." I fell in love with Grand Canyon at first sight. My heart, soul, body, and mind have been shaped and softened by this magical place.

Lifetimes of memories! Full moon setting, with a fireball asteroid ripping apart the night sky, while hiking above Tanner has to be top five.

Favorite River Tradition

I like to stop in Cameron, AZ at the Little Colorado River and offer thanks before crossing.
